Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp seed oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, meaning it does not clog pores at all, which makes it a great moisturiser for both oily and acne prone skin types. There are many essential fatty acids found in Hemp Seed Oil, however, the acids most similar to our skin’s lipids are Omega 3, 6 and 9.
Oat oil is heralded for its ability to nourish and soothe maturing, sensitive and damaged skin, and it supports the elasticity of the skin. Oat oil possesses exceptional emolliency, and it penetrates the skin rapidly. Its fatty acid composition includes over 35% essential fatty acids, and it is a good source of antioxidants.
When applied to the skin, beeswax forms a protective barrier that helps protect it from environmental assaults, while also holding in moisture and reducing dryness. Unlike ingredients made from petroleum, however, beeswax doesn’t “suffocate” the skin, and won’t clog pores.
Rather than ingesting CBD is il orally, which will affect the whole body and can take up to 2 hours or more to fully experience the effects, the topical application of cannabinoids allows them to be absorbed directly into the affected area for faster and more focused onset of effects.
Like all CBD products, CBD oil topicals are non-psychoactive, and since the cannabinoids in these topicals interact with CB2 receptors near the skin, activating the endocannabinoid system, they are never absorbed into the bloodstream.
